Ardvreck Sevens

On Sunday 6th November, in glorious sunshine, we hosted the 16th Ardvreck Rugby Sevens Competition. We welcomed eleven visiting teams from as far North as Moray and as far South as Melrose. The home team reached the semi-finals for the 16th year running but an early lead against Cargilfield slipped away after an interception try.The Charity final was won by Loretto who selected ‘Help for Heroes’ to receive the collection that was donated during the match. The main competition was won by Merchiston who beat Cargilfield in the final.
