Friends of Ardvreck

On Saturday, children and their parents were invited to take part in two fund raising events run by the Friends of Ardvreck. Junior House pupils and their parents danced reels in the afternoon before being treated to tea, sandwiches, sausage rolls and cakes. In the evening, the Senior Houses and their parents attended a Games Night. As well as the more well-known games of twister, jenga, roulette and racing demon, there was also a fishing game, a 70s dancing competition (in full 70s dress), a clever use of cereal boxes and eating chocolate whilst dressed as a skier! The Headmaster even played two games of connect and one game of chess simultaneously and not one pupil beat him at any of the three games!  A large amount of money was raised for the Friends of Ardvreck who provide additional school equipment to benefit the children.

A social hour was held between the two events which enabled the parents to mix with old and new friends alike.
