Admissions
Potential pupils can join Ardvreck at any time between the ages of 3-13.
Once contact with the school has been established, parents are invited to come and meet the Headmaster. At this stage they will be given a tour of the school by two senior pupils and a chance to experience life at Ardvreck.
The next stage of the admission process involves the child coming to the school for a "taster" experience. This usually means arriving at the school at 10.25 AM, meeting the matrons and putting on school uniform, before being immersed into a busy Ardvreck day.
After a night boarding, the following morning includes school assembly and morning lessons prior to being collected by parents after lunch.
Experience has taught us that these "taster" sessions are invaluable for both the potential pupil and the school and both parties get a good chance to look at each other.
Once the child has registered for the school, they attend a "Welcome Weekend" in early June when they meet all their fellow new pupils prior to the new academic year.
To start the process, please fill out the contact form here.
