During the warmer months of the year, every class is taken for a day of outdoor pursuits in the local Perthshire countryside. The oldest children in forms 5 and 6 go out together at the beginning of the school year in September and their day helps them to bond and to learn to work as a team, which are important skills as they embark on their Common Entrance studies in earnest and prepare for the imminent exams. The younger children in forms 1 to 4 inclusive head out on their adventures during the summer months.

Safety is paramount and qualified instruction is provided for us at two local outdoor centres, which are registered with the Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority. Activities include kayaking, high ropes, low ropes, crate building, gorge walking, and archery.
