Rugby Sevens

Sevens, like Ardvreck, celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2008. The shortened game is a powerful development tool and a popular activity, from inter-house tournaments to national competitions. The 1st VII were undefeated in all 16 ties during the 2007-8 season, winning both the Loretto and Ardvreck Sevens for the second and fourth times respectively, and restoring national pride against English opponents during the spring tour.
