Tennis

We aim for every girl who leaves Ardvreck to be able to play a social game of tennis with the ability to score. We also aim to play competitively at the interschool level. There are a number of school tournaments for boys and girls that result in cups at prize giving for which every pupil in the school is eligible.

There are professional coaches who visit as part of the activities on Sundays and to coach Under 11 girls and team coaching during the week. Although it is accepted that tennis is not a sport that everyone will excel at there is an acknowledgement that it is something that all can enjoy.  Tennis for boys during games sessions has become more frequent since the construction of the school Astroturf.
