Fresh Air, Friendship and Financial Sense

Reasons To Choose Ardvreck School

Our idyllic countryside setting, surrounded by awe-inspiring Munros and peaceful lochs, are just a few of the reasons many families choose Ardvreck School, not to mention the abundant fresh air and the extraordinary academic and adventurous education we provide.

Daily lessons in core curriculum subjects with exceptional provision for Music, Art and Drama are all a given and, in addition, children regularly enjoy adventures including white water rafting on our local rivers, rock climbing at a nearby crag or summiting Munros on our doorstep, all of which contribute to the pupils’ exceptional educational experience.

Ardvreck is about establishing camaraderie from an early age which will last a lifetime. Our community is one where all staff and pupils behave with kindness and empathy towards one another and the partnership between educator and learner is evident in all we do. Our boarding education is second to none and gives children the opportunity to forge deep and meaningful friendships. The boarders in Dalvreck House benefit from our sector leading outdoor provision, together with the weekend and evening activities which brim with fun and inspiration. These include movie nights, games, talks, walks, and thrilling adventures up trees or hills, down rivers, gorges or caves as well as making time for chatting, playing and enjoying some downtime in a cosy home from home environment.

Here at Ardvreck School in the heart of rural Perthshire, we benefit from a perfect central location within an hour’s reach of Glasgow and Edinburgh International airports. From these airports there are daily flights to London, Paris, Barcelona, Dubai and many other international destinations. Our fleet of minibuses, with friendly drivers, provides shuttle runs to and from the airports. Gleneagles train station, with a direct rail service to London King’s Cross, is just a 20 minute drive from the school.
